Engraver

Mary Stiller was raised in Colorado, moving to Sedalia in 1991. Always driven by her  artistic vision, upon an early retirement she recently began her own design and engraving business. Her business, Something Special, was born of the need to create something special for others. Inspired by ATV adventures in nature, the  design of her artistic colleagues, and a love of her family, her artistic focus evolves quickly and always keeps her busy. Fascinated by glass’s ability to refract light, she  began honing her stained glass stills nearly 20 years ago. Acknowledging the progression of laser technology and computer design, she has found a passion for mixed media. Despite retirement, she finds that there aren’t enough hours in the  day to realize the constant flow of ideas. In the perfect world, Mary would find herself spending time with family, adventuring in the woods, and creating Something Special.
